Arkeia Backup Solution
Thruport has partnered with Arkeia to offer their industry proven and award winning backup and recovery software to our customers. We offer a wide variety of backup solutions to meet your needs. The advanced Arkeia software offered by Thruport includes extensive support for a wide variety of databases. Backup & Offsite Storage
Thruport backup solution gives the enterprise complete control
over data backup, frequency, scheduling, verification, and
data restores, including disk-to-disk, disk-to-tape, and offsite
storage. Backup is charged on actual GB transferred.
For additional protection, Thruport offers
a centralized tape backup, executed weekly or monthly at the
customer's preference, and rotated offsite in Thruport's secure
storage facility.

Network Storage (JBOD, SAN, and
NAS Solutions)
Thruport offers several external storage solutions to meet
the most resource-intensive applications. Depending upon the
needs of the enterprise, Thruport can implement JBOD arrays,
network attached storage (NAS), and SAN configurations managing
up to 50TB of data. NAS is available for NFS (Unix), CIFS
(Windows), and AppleShare platforms, while SAN leverages Thruport's
EMC Clariion running SCSI over Fibre Channel for transfer
rates up to 200MB/s and only 5% protocol overhead (versus
TCP/IP's 40%+). Call Sales for information on how to design
