Thruport Partners with Mirror Image for Global Content Network: Partnership Enables Thruport's Mid-Size Enterprise Base To Provide Global Users with Exceptional Online Service

ALEXANDRIA, VA and WOBURN, MA, September 4, 2002 -- Thruport Technologies, Inc. and Mirror® Image Internet, a leading provider of distributed Web and content delivery services and a subsidiary of Xcelera Inc. (AMEX: XLA), today announced that Thruport has joined Mirror Image's Global Alliance Partner (GAP) program as a Channel Reseller partner.

Through this relationship, Thruport will leverage Mirror Image's global Content Access Point™ (CAP) network and content delivery services to provide enterprises with a comprehensive and cost-effective solution for global content distribution and streaming. By using Mirror Image's services to offload origin servers, Thurport will enable its mid-size enterprise base to gain the redundancy and scalability necessary to optimize access performance and content quality for users worldwide. For many of the services, Thruport guarantees that content delivered via the Mirror Image network will meet or exceed the Keynote 10 performance standard.
